The House

The 1800's Post Office and Gold Assayer Office were converted into this cozy move-in ready residence in the 1980s with modern plumbing and electrical. The house has instant-on endless hot water, property-wide fire protection system, two large propane storage tanks, and efficient modern pellet stove heating. The bedroom has original wood floors and lovely wood paneling throughout, as does the bathroom. Absolutely stunning mountain and valley and lake view from the full-length front porch. No neighbors for miles... walk around in your skivvies, shoot your guns, play loud music with your band in the Merchantile building - no one will care.

Merchantile

This Building is where the gold miners bought their food, clothing, and mining supplies. Looks rough outside but it's fully restorable to it's old glory and is still a functional building with newer electricity (220 and 110 volt), full shop, and 3 separate rooms. Large lofted metal roof with no leaks and the original solid wood floors inside. Needs doors and windows, a porch face-lift then it's easily converted into historical bed and breakfast, granny apartment, keep as work shop, create a haunted house , bar, make an outdoor music venue or whatever direction you'd like to take the proprty and the historic buildings - no restrictions - you own them, and the property is zoned A for any business!

Blacksmith Shop

The Blacksmith Shop where the town's wagon wheels and other metal goods were made is directly in the rear of the residence. This building is in great shape, with original windows, doors, solid wood floor and front porch, and a gorgeous stone staircase leading up to it from the main house. The view from the porch of this wild-west building is breathtaking! Perfect for a granny-flat, your next western movie, or whatever you dream up.

Brothel

Also on the property is one of the little Brothel buildings down the path where...well, we all know what happened there ;). Wood floors and leak-free roof make this a perfect store-room or granny flat possibility - electrified as well. Use your imagination.

Electricity

The Edison power grid ends right here at the townsite and there are no neighbors to disturb, or to disturb you. 3 separate Edison power meters in different locations on the property gives you options to divide the bills with separate meters to separate living or work spaces. There is 220 and 110 power so heavy electrical equipment/machines can be operated here. All the buildings have power and there are also 6000 watts of solar panels sitting in the brothel waiting for you to use to supplement the grid power and lower the bills or take the whole town off-grid if you like...sunshine is never an issue here!

Endless Water

Water, water, everywhere! Keyesville comes with water rights to the spring coming from the Keyesville mine, and there's another spring right on the property. Both springs flow all day and night, 365 days a year so you will always have thousands of gallons per day of free, crystal-clear mountain spring water! Grow crops or start your own Keyesville Water company! Two modern polypropylene water storage tanks sit high on the property in separate locations - one is 2500 gallons, and the other 1500 gallons, and there is a large concrete-ready pond which was excavated in the hillside in front of the current residence which can be used as a pool, and doubles as fire-prevention reservoir, featuring 3" underground piping leading to and from it to all points on the property.
